Growcode is an AI-native software agency from Utrecht, the Netherlands. In 2024 we sold our own company Futy, a chatbot platform, to Leadinfo. Growcode was founded after that, and we started building with AI-driven development. We have 14+ years of experience building software, and a preference for working systematically. The perfect combination for building AI-native systems.

Designed
We came up with Futy and designed it ourselves, validating prototypes with the target audience and working quickly towards a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

After a successful beta period the software was developed further by Guus, a Senior Full Stack Developer (AI-native by now).

Bootstrapped to more than 4,000 paying customers in eight languages, with a small team and a lot of automation.

During the sale a code audit was carried out by a team of 8 developers, including the CTO of team.blue. Our software was rated as sound and secure.

Up and running
The plan was to migrate Futy and phase it out within 3 months. Thanks to the quality of the software and its automatic growth, it is still running two years later.

Web
React, Next.js, Nuxt and TypeScript. For the data layer PostgreSQL with Prisma, or Supabase where that is faster.
Mobile
React Native, TypeScript and Expo. Shared types with the web side give an AI agent context from screen to database.
AI toolchain
Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and GitHub Copilot, inside pipelines with mandatory checks, test layers and monitoring.
